38-year-old motorcycle rider killed in collision with truck in Plymouth County

A Plymouth County man is dead after a collision involving a motorcycle on Thursday.

According to police, at just prior to 6:00 p.m., Kingston Police and Fire responded to the area of 23 Main Street for a report of motor vehicle crash. Initial investigation has revealed a motorcycle collided with a pick-up truck in the area, resulting in the operator of the motorcycle becoming unresponsive.

Despite the incredible efforts of first responders and hospital personnel, the operator of the motorcycle, a 38-year-old Plymouth man, was pronounced deceased shortly after the crash.

The roadway was closed for several hours during initial investigation but has since been reopened. Multiple investigatory resources are involved, and the matter is being handled primarily by State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

Kingston Police issued the following statement:

“As we approach the holidays, we can’t express enough how sorry we are to the loved ones of the victim. If this incident has impacted you, whether you know the victim or it resurfaces old trauma, please remember there are resources available. Please call us.
