Fall River personnel find woman lying in the road after being hit by a vehicle

Fall River crews responded to a pedestrian versus vehicle collision on Sunday evening.

According to scanner transmissions, a woman was found lying in the road at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the area of McDonald’s on Plymouth Avenue.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the female had been hit by a vehicle.

She was conscious, alert, and oriented, according to personnel on scene through scanner transmissions.

The female was transported to a local hospital.

No word yet on the vehicle who hit her.
