Massachusetts State Police investigating Route 3 crash that left one dead, another seriously injured

Crews responded to a late-night highway crash in Massachusetts that turned fatal.

According to Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, Troopers from the Norwell barracks responded to reports of a single car crash on Route 3 Northbound in Duxbury by Exit 22.

Duxbury Fire/ EMS, Plymouth County State Police Detectives, and the Medical Examiner’s Office all responded to the scene.

One occupant died due to their injuries, a second was transported to an area hospital and treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
