The involved vehicles all sustained heavy damage. The vehicles involved were a 2022 Red Hyundai Kona operated by a 23-year-old man from Carver, a 2010 Blue Audi Q5, operated by a 46-year-old man from Lowell, and a 2025 Green BMW X1 operated by a 53-year-old man from Truro.
The male operator of the Hyundai Kona sustained serious, life-threatening injuries, and later died. He has been identified as Paul A. Navarro.

According to an online fundraiser, Navarro was a big car and animal lover.
“Paul had a deep love for cars and loved his Hyundai Kona N, bringing it to numerous events, shows, and meets. He loved being a part of the New England N Owners and found so much joy in being a part of the community. One of Paul’s favorite memories was attending IMSA with NENO at Lime Rock Park, and he can be seen driving his Kona N on the track in the photo above. Paul was a loyal, resilient, hardworking, dedicated, and caring gentleman. He loved his dogs and his soulmate, Rebecca more than anything.”
The Cape and Islands Regional Law Enforcement Council Crash Reconstruction Team and the Bourne Police Department are investigating the crash.
