7 new Fall River recruit firefighters to be sworn in this week

Fall River, MA – The Fall River Fire Department is proud to announce the swearing-in ceremony for seven recruit firefighters who have successfully completed extensive training and certification. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 13th at 5:00 p.m. on the 6th floor of Government Center.
By completing their Emergency Medical Technician training and certification, as well as rigorous training at the Massachusetts Fire Academy, the 7 are ready and committed to serve and protect the residents of Fall River.
By earning the certifications of Firefighter I and Firefighter II, they are equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to handle a wide range of emergency situations effectively.
“We are excited to welcome these seven new firefighters into the ranks of the Fall River Fire Department,” said Chief Jeffrey Bacon of the Fall River Fire Department. “Their dedication and hard work through their training have made the department proud, and we look forward to having them become part of the FRFD family very soon.”
The Fall River Fire Department invites family members, friends, and the community to join in
celebrating this significant milestone in the careers of these new firefighters. The event will
include remarks from city officials and fire department leadership, followed by the formal
swearing-in ceremony.
