62nd Annual Westport Book Fair to feature over 30,000 books at discount prices

A popular summer event in the Fall River, Massachusetts area is back again in 2025.

Westport Friends are excited for the return of their Book Fair beginning July 12th, rain or shine at 938 Main Road

What started as a seven-table book fair in 1961, the Westport Friends Annual Book Fair, now in its 62nd year, has grown into a locally anticipated event that attracts book lovers from throughout the region.

The breakdown:

10:00 AM: 6/$1.00 paperbacks and puzzles go on sale

10:45 AM: KIDS ONLY in Meeting House

11:00 AM: Three huge main tents/Community House open with over 30,000 high quality books for sale including children’s books.

7:00 PM: Grounds close for the night, but sale continues the next day, every day, through July 20th! Hours for 7/13-7/19: 9AM-7PM, 7/20: 9AM-4PM

Payment Methods: Cash, checks, and credit cards (MasterCard or Visa) accepted.

Thousands of gently used books for sale organized by genre including Art, Literature, Cooking, Gardening, Local Features, Poetry, Non-Fiction, Rare Books, Children’s Books and more.
