BROCKTON – Family members have identified a 56-year-old man who was killed in an incident involving a tractor trailer at a Wareham warehouse facility.
According to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz, at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Wareham Police received a 911 call for a report of a worker injured at Chatham Village Foods warehouse facility.
Upon arrival, first responders located a man behind a loading dock pinned by a tractor trailer unit, with apparently life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene at 9:54 a.m.
According to family and a GoFundMe fundraiser, Arsenio Da Cruz Pina “was a hardworking and loving man who did everything he could for his children and family. He worked tirelessly to provide for us and make sure we had what we needed. He was someone we depended on every day, and losing him so suddenly has left a huge emptiness in our hearts and in our family.”
