$5,000 bail set for Fall River man accused of rape
Bail has been set for a Fall River man that has been accused of rape.
According to Cape Cod Times, a $5,000 bail was set for Ryan Waite, 38, after the judge heard testimony from the woman he allegedly raped.
If bail is indeed posted, Waite must stay off Cape Cod and also wear a GPS device.
Waite pleaded not guilty to rape; strangulation or suffocation resulting in serious bodily injury; and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over.
The alleged incident took place in Sandwich on February 6th and Waite has been held without bail.
