The Rhode Island Attorney General has announced the indictments of 5 people surrounding the death of missing 24-year-old Erica Bader of Central Falls.

On Tuesday, the Providence Grand Jury returned an indictment charging 41-year-old Elizabeth Durand, 35-year-old Joshua Brunelle, 34-year-old Brittney Terpening, 29-year-old Andrew Cornell, and 37-year-old Stephanie Bletzer with one count of first-degree murder, one count of conspiracy to commit murder, one count of kidnapping, and one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

The alleged acts occurred in the City of Central Falls on October 26th, 2025.

The defendants are scheduled for arraignment on May 20th in Providence County Superior Court.

Bader’s body was discovered in a wooded area of Pawtucket on October 27th, 2025.

Investigators determined that Bader’s body had been placed in Pawtucket after her death occurred elsewhere, leading to an address on Central Street in Central Falls.

In addition to the 5 indicted on Tuesday, Cheryl Blakely (kidnapping, conspiracy, failure to report a death), Joanne Miller (kidnapping, conspiracy, failure to report a death), and Christopher Kordalewski (failure to report a death) were previously arrested concerning the case.

Central Falls Police Detectives Division, members of the Pawtucket Police Department, the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General, and the Office of the State Medical Examiner were involved in the investigation.

Details surrounding the death of Bader have not yet been released.
