Fall River, MA – HealthFirst Family Care Center has announced a new date for its 4th Annual BlockParty Palooza, a free community celebration that will officially kick off National Community Health Center Week.

The event will now be held on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at HealthFirst Family Care Center, 387 Quarry Street, Fall River, MA.

The event was originally scheduled for August 8th, but after reviewing the local community calendar, HealthFirst made the decision to move the event to avoid conflicts with other major city events and ensure families have the best opportunity to attend. “Our goal is to bring the community together,” said Dr. Lisa Jones, President & CEO of HealthFirst Family Care Center. “By moving the event to August 2, we’re creating an opportunity for more families to enjoy a fun morning together while connecting with valuable community resources as we celebrate National Community Health Center Week.”

The BlockParty Palooza has become one of HealthFirst’s signature community events, welcoming hundreds of families each year for a morning of fun, education, and support.

The free event will feature free backpacks and school supplies for students (while supplies last), family-friendly games/activities, music/entertainment, and resource tables.

HealthFirst encourages families to arrive early, as backpacks and school supplies will be distributed while supplies last.
