A Fall River man is facing several charges after a recent arrest.

According to police, on Thursday, members of the Patrol Bureau and the Community Action & Suppression Team (CAST) executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Plymouth Avenue. This warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation initiated by the Patrol Bureau following a call for service.

During the search, officers seized 309 grams of crack cocaine, assorted prescriptions pills, suboxone, and a Tisas 1911 .45 ACP firearm with a loaded magazine.

As a result, 46-year-old Leonard Baskin was arrested and charged with multiple firearms and controlled substance offenses.

At Friday’s arraignment, Baskin pled not guilty and was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
