A Fall River resident has been cited after a handful of cars were damaged in a collision.

According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 8:00 p.m., on Monday, Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 2300 block of South Main Street.

Once on scene, officers discovered that a Nissan Pathfinder had been traveling North on South Main Street when the operator veered to the right and side swiped a Toyota which was parked.

The Pathfinder continued and struck a parked Honda from behind. The force of that impact caused a domino effect collision with the two vehicles parked in front of the Honda.

The operator of the Pathfinder, a 44-year-old Fall River resident whose name was not released, was transported to a nearby Trauma Center for medical attention. She was cited for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lane violation.
