43-year-old Fall River man dies in construction accident while on the job

Southborough, MA – The Southborough Police Department is investigating a fatal incident involving a roofing contractor who fell from a residence on Flagg Road on Wednesday. 

At just after 3:30 p.m., Southborough Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported fall from a height at a private residence.

Upon arrival, first responders located an adult male who had sustained serious injuries consistent with a fall from the roof of the home. 

The Southborough Fire Department assessed the patient on scene and initiated emergency medical care. The man was subsequently transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. 

43-year-old Holger Antonio Morocho of Fall River has been identified as the deceased.

The incident remains under active investigation by the Southborough Police Department Detective Bureau, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
