42-year-old Fall River mother who died from gunshot wound remembered as kind and caring

A Fall River woman was being remembered after she died Wednesday after being shot.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Wednesday, Fall River Police received a 911 call for two parties with injuries and were dispatched to 490 Dickinson Street in Fall River.  When police arrived, they encountered a 55-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the head and neck and located a female, identified as 42-year-old, Remy Aull, with a single gunshot wound. 

Both parties were transported for medical treatment.  Aull was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where she was pronounced deceased at approximately 10:15 p.m. Wednesday evening.  

Aull was a successful yoga and Pilates instructor at Aull Pilates in Middletown, Rhode Island with her mother Colleen. A mother of 3, Aull was described by a friend as a kind and caring woman.

Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office, Fall River Police and Homicide Unit prosecutors are actively investigating the incident.

No other information was released.
