4-year-old seriously injured after falling from second-story window
Chief Dennis King reports that the Marblehead Police Department responded to a residence last night for a report of a child who had fallen out of a window.
On Friday, July 23 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Marblehead Police responded to a 911 call for a report that a child had fallen from a second-floor window at a residence in town. Officers quickly arrived on scene and rendered first aid to the child. Marblehead Fire and EMS crews arrived shortly after.
The child, a 4-year-old from Marblehead, was transported by Atlantic Ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The Marblehead Detective Division and Massachusetts State Police are jointly conducting the investigation, which is ongoing.
