4 transported to a hospital, one driver cited, after crash involving SUV and SRTA bus in Fall River
A crash on Tuesday morning in Fall River resulted in several injuries and a driver being cited.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 11:30 a.m., units responded to the intersection of Bedford Street and Seventh Street in response to a motor vehicle collision involving a Southeastern Regional Transit Authority bus.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a Ford Excursion had stopped at the stop sign on Seventh Street before attempting to proceed onto Bedford Street. As the operator attempted to turn onto Bedford Street, she struck the SRTA bus which was traveling West on Bedford Street.
The operator of the Ford and three SRTA passengers were transported to a local medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the Ford was also issued a citation for failure to use care while starting.
