4 men facing charges after investigation into drug dealing in the area of a local school

4 local men were arrested recently after an investigation into alleged drug dealing near a Rhode Island school.

According to police, on Wednesday, the Pawtucket Police Department’s Narcotics Unit along with members of the Special Response Team and K-9 Unit, served a court ordered search warrant on Sisson St. The search warrant was issued after an investigation by the Pawtucket Police Narcotics Unit into the distribution of crack cocaine in the area of Baldwin Elementary School.

Inside of the residence detectives located crack cocaine, approximately $2,500 in cash, packaging material, and digital scales.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with:

35-year-old Madueno Silveira: Manufacturing/Delivery with Intent Schedule I/II, Keeping or Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Distribution or Manufacturing in or Near Schools

55-year-old Carlos Almeida: Keeping or Maintaining a Common Nuisance

27-yeear-old Odair Silveira: Keeping or Maintaining a Common Nuisance

21-year-old Walter Silveira: Keeping or Maintaining a Common Nuisance
