39-year-old motorcycle rider killed in Taunton crash police say
TAUNTON — Chief Edward Walsh reports that the Taunton Police Department responded to a fatal motorcycle crash Tuesday.
At just after 1:45 p.m., the Taunton Police Department received reports of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near 150 Charles F. Colton Road.
The operator of the Harley Davidson motorcycle, a 39-year-old East Taunton man, was transported by ambulance to Morton Hospital in Taunton, where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity is not being released pending notification of his next of kin.
The crash is under investigation by Taunton Police detectives, the Taunton Police Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
