37-year-old man, 42-year-old woman charged with physically abusing child
Attorney General Peter Neronha announced that a Rhode Island couple has been charged in Providence County Superior Court with child abuse following their arrest.
On April 7, 2023, the Office of the Attorney General charged 37-year-old Jeremy Wright and 42-year-old Xiomary Wright, both of Glocester, by way of criminal information, each with one count of second-degree child abuse.
As alleged in the criminal information, the co-defendants physically abused a child under the age of 18 in January 2023 and were arrested by the Glocester Police Department.
The Glocester Police Department conducted the investigation.
The co-defendants are scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference on June 12, 2023, in Providence County Superior Court.
