36-year-old Rhode Island woman killed in fatal crash remembered as genuine, loyal, inspiring
A Rhode Island woman who died this week in a collision is being remembered.
36-year-old Michaela Greatorex of Greenville was driving home from work Wednesday night around midnight when she crashed an SUV into a pole on Hartford Avenue in Johnston.
It was pouring at the time of the crash.
According to a GoFundMe fundraiser, she leaves behind her husband, Spencer, and two young boys, Quinn (11) and Brady (9). Money raised will go to funeral expenses and raising her two sons.
A friend described Greatorex as an incredibly genuine person who would send her messages across the baseball field about how great her son was doing even if he was playing against Greatorex’s son. Others described her as strong, loyal, inspiring, and trustworthy.
The crash is under investigation.
