36-year-old Massachusetts man killed in fiery crash on Route 195 brought so much joy to those who knew him

A Massachusetts man recently killed in a highway crash is being remembered.

According to Trooper Brandon Doherty, at just after 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Troopers assigned to State Police-Dartmouth responded to reports of a crash involving three vehicles on Route 195 westbound prior to Exit 1 in Seekonk.

 Upon the arrival of Troopers, all three lanes of travel were closed to facilitate life-saving efforts of involved vehicle occupants. The operator of a 2022 Toyota Highlander, a 36-year-old man from Springfield, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The crash also involved a 2022 Ford F650, operated by a 45-year-old man from North Easton, and a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer, operated by a 31-year-old man from Hallandale, Fla. The operator of the Ford was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The operator of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

 According to those who knew him, Luis Sanchez was the 36-year-old from Springfield killed in the crash.

A GoFundMe fundraiser organized by his co-workers to aid his family states that Sanchez brought so much joy to their lives, and he will be greatly missed.

Sanchez was a married retail account manager for IDT Corporation and enjoyed playing softball. He also loved his family and friends.

Services have not yet been announced.

The exact cause and circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by members of Troop D of the Massachusetts State Police, along with Troopers assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section, Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section, and Bristol County State Police Detective Unit.
