33-year-old Rhode Island woman held without bail after drugs, fireworks, cash seized
A Rhode Island woman was arrested after a recent incident.
According to police, last Tuesday, members of the Glocester Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Putnam Pike for observed traffic violations. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Erica Barratt, 33, of Pawtucket, RI.
During the investigation and subsequent search of the vehicle, officers discovered the following:
• Numerous illegal aerial fireworks
• Approximately 2 pounds of raw marijuana in various packages
• 30 psilocybin mushroom candy bars
• A digital scale
• $757 in cash
Barratt was taken into custody and arraigned in Third District Court on June 18, where she was charged with:
• Two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver
• One count of possession of fireworks
She was held without bail pending a status conference scheduled for today.
