32-year-old Taunton woman killed in Boston pedestrian crash
A Bristol County woman died from injuries sustained in a pedestrian crash earlier this week.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. on Monday, two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue at the intersection of Albany Street in Boston.
Both victims were rushed to Boston Medical Center.
According to family members, 32-year-old Korissa Burch of Taunton died from her injuries.
A man in his 50s, suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
According to WCVB, the driver of the vehicle has been identified, but no arrests have been made.
According to a GoFundMe fundraiser, Burch was a mother who was “always smiling and cracking some kind of joke or analogy. She also loved being around family and friends.”
The accident is under investigation.
