3 transported to trauma center, driver cited, after late-night multi-vehicle rollover crash in Fall River
Several people were injured in a late-night crash in Fall River on Friday.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at just after 11:00 p.m., units responded to the intersection of Bedford Street and Quarry Street in response to a motor vehicle collision with rollover.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that a Honda Element had rolled over after a collision with a Honda Civic. All of the passengers were able to exit the vehicle prior to the arrival of police.
According to statements provided to investigators, the Honda Civic failed to stop at a red light while traveling west on Bedford Street through the intersection. The Honda Element had been traveling South on North Quarry Street with a green traffic signal.
Pereira stated that three people were transported to local trauma centers with non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the Honda Civic was cited for failing to stop for the traffic signal.
