29-year-old Rhode Island man killed in afternoon collision being remembered
A Rhode Island man killed in a crash on Wednesday is being remembered.
At just after 2:00 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a collision on Plainfield Street in Providence where a Honda, driven by 29-year-old Joshua Diaz of Pawtucket, hit the rear left side of a dump truck.
Diaz was the only occupant in the vehicle and was unresponsive when crews arrived on scene. He was later pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
