29-year-old identified as man killed in Providence motorcycle crash

The name has been released of a man killed in a motorcycle crash that occurred in Providence on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Jonathan Arias.

According to ABC 6, Officers were called to the scene shortly after 10:00 p.m. following a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle close to the Elmwood Avenue and Congress Avenue intersection.

Arias, who was operating the motorcycle, was declared dead at the scene.

The motorcycle’s passenger, who was not identified, was rushed to a local hospital suffering from severe, life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle’s operator stayed at the scene.
