26-year-old killed in Rhode Island crash remembered for work ethic, vibrant personality

One of two people killed in a single vehicle collision early Saturday morning in Narragansett is being remembered. 

At just before 1:00 a.m., officers responded to the area of 55 Mumford Road following a report of a motor vehicle crashing into a pole.

Upon arrival, officers found a single vehicle with four occupants involved in the accident. 

Two occupants, 26-year-old Andres Naranjo Warschauer and 24-year-old Samuel White, both of South Kingstown, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other occupants were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. 

According to an obituary, Andres is being remembered for his work ethic, vibrant personality and the ability to connect with others, making people laugh and lifting their spirits. He enjoyed soccer, tennis, golf, and pickle ball, as well as indulging in video games and house music, while often found at the gym, striving for personal growth and well-being. He was Assistant Vice President of Business Development at Captive Resources.

VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 4-8pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett. A celebration of Andres life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 1-5pm at The Towers, 35 Ocean Road, Narragansett. A Mass of Christian Burial and inurnment will be in Las Palmas, Spain.

The incident remains under investigation by the Narragansett Police Department.
