A Massachusetts man has been killed in a three-vehicle crash.

According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, at 7:44 p.m. Troopers from the State Police-Foxboro Barracks responded to a three-vehicle crash on Route 95 southbound, near Exit 17, in Sharon that resulted in the death one of the drivers.

The crash involved a 2013 BMW 535xi operated by Jordan McGrath-Edlund, 24, of Mansfield; a 2016 Subaru Impreza station wagon operated by a 34-year-old Providence man; and a 2012 Honda CRV sport utility vehicle operated by a 70-year-old Foxborough woman.

Preliminary investigation, including witness statements and analysis of the crash scene, suggests that the BMW was operating at a high rate of speed and making multiple lane changes. At one point the BMW struck the Impreza and the CRV, causing those vehicles to roll over. The BMV then also rolled over into the center median.

McGrath-Edlund, the BMW operator, was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The operator of the CRV was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with potential serious injuries. The operator of the Impreza was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with minor injuries.

The facts and circumstances of the crash are under investigation by State Police Troop H Detectives, the State Police-Foxboro Barracks, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section.
