23-year-old Rhode Island man dies from injuries sustained in dirt bike collision

A local man is dead after a collision that took place last week involving a dirt bike.

According to WJAR 10, on Thursday, just after 11:00 p.m., Providence police responded to a crash at the intersection of Westminster and Dexter Streets. They determined the involved vehicle was a dirt bike.

A man in his 20s was found at the scene and rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to a family member, 23-year-old Emanuel is the deceased.

“My nephew Emanuel had a good heart. He was loving and caring and did not deserve to die the way he did.”

Police continue to investigate the incident.
