23-year-old Massachusetts man who died in fiery highway crash being remembered
A Massachusetts man has died following a fiery crash over the weekend.
According to Chief of Police Ryan M. Newell, on Sunday, Southborough Police and Fire Department responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident in the area of 103 Main Street (Route 30).
SPD and SFD arrived on scene and found a motor vehicle fully engulfed with the victim (driver) pinned inside the vehicle.
The road was shut down by SPD while Southborough Fire Department extinguished the fire.
The victim, 23-year-old Anthony Severance of Marlborough, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Those who knew Severance described him as a lovable hard worker who believed that was the only way to get ahead in life.
Police expressed thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family and friends.
Southborough Police and the Massachusetts State Police are investigating the accident.
