21-year-old Rhode Island man who died in motorcycle crash remembered as sweet with great sense of humor
A young Rhode Island man has died after a weekend crash.
Crews responded to a call from dispatch concerning a motorcycle crash on Truman Drive inbound in Woonsocket just before 6:00 p.m. on Saturday with the rider unresponsive and suffering from head trauma.
The victim, 21-year-old Joseph Rossi of North Smithfield, reportedly lost control of his motorcycle before leaving the road and hitting a pole.
Rossi was transported to Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket where he was later pronounced dead.
Rossi is being remembered for his sweet nature and having a great sense of humor.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been created for Rossi’s family.
The crash is still under investigation.
