The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office and Walpole Police continue to investigate a fatal crash Thursday morning involving a SUV and a motorcycle at Winter Street and Vintage Farm Lane, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.

The motorcyclist, 21-year-old Cameron Teasdale of New Bedford, was transported by the Walpole Fire Department to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton where he was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m.

A preliminary investigation by officers at the scene indicate that the SUV was traveling in an easterly direction, and the motorcycle was traveling in a westerly direction on Winter Street when the collision occurred.

Teasdale’s employer, MF Landscape & Design issued a statement on his passing.

“On Thursday April 10 we experienced an unimaginable loss at MF Landscape and Luxury Pools. Cameron Teasdale passed away tragically on his way to work— he was a friend, a bright light, and a man full of kindness, talent, and promise.

“His presence was felt in every job site, every early morning, and every laugh shared among the team. He made a lasting impact on our company, and more importantly, on all of us who had the privilege to work beside him.

“To family, friends, and loved ones — we extend our deepest sympathies and love during this incredibly difficult time. No words can truly express the sorrow we feel. Please know how cherished he was and always will be in the hearts of everyone at MFL. We will honor his memory in all we do.”

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been created for funeral expenses and has raised over $26,000 as of this writing.

The investigation is being conducted by the Walpole Police Department’s Detectives Bureau and Crash Reconstruction Team, a crash reconstructionist with the Mansfield Police Department, and the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
