A 21-year-old Fall River man never made it home to his young family on Thursday.
According to family members, Pablo Acosta was playing basketball at Kennedy Park and sadly went into cardiac arrest while on the court and was rushed up the street to St. Anne’s Hospital where he later passed away.
Acosta was a BMC Durfee High School graduate and leaves behind a wife, an 11-month-old boy, and other family and friends.
According to a GoFundme fundraiser created for funeral expenses, Acosta brought so much love and light into the lives of his family members, and he will be deeply missed.
Services for Acosta have yet to be announced.
