The Miss Fall River Scholarship Organization proudly crowned its newest titleholders during the 2026 Miss Fall River Scholarship Competition held on Saturday, at Kuss Middle School,
an evening that showcased ambition, talent, leadership, and a shared passion for service.

According to organizers, twenty-five of Massachusetts’ most driven and well-rounded young women took the stage, competing not only for scholarship awards, but for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the South Coast.

Anastasia Rose of Acushnet was named Miss Fall River; a senior at Old Colony Regional High School, she champions cancer awareness and patient support through her Community Service Initiative, Stasia Strong.

The title of Miss Bristol County was awarded to Ericka Corriea of Freetown, a Boston University student whose initiative, Life Changing Moments Begin with Mentoring, is dedicated to empowering youth through mentorship.

Olivia Villandry of Dighton, a student at Bristol Plymouth Regional High School, earned the title of Miss Fall River’s Teen and advocates for expanded access to dance education through her initiative, Raising the Barre.

Gianna Harris of New Bedford, a student at Bishop Stang High School, was crowned Miss Bristol County’s Teen and brings awareness to addiction education and recovery through her initiative, Breaking the Cycle: Unmasking Addiction’s Grip.

Over $2,500 in scholarships were awarded throughout the evening, reinforcing the organization’s mission to support academic achievement and leadership.

Open to women ages 14 to 28 who live, work, or attend school full time in Massachusetts, the Miss Fall River Scholarship Program continues to cultivate confident leaders who serve as role models in their communities, organizers say.

Director Olivia Marques-Smith reflected on the program’s impact, sharing, “The Miss Fall River Scholarship Program has truly cemented itself as a pillar in Fall River and the surrounding communities. Our titleholders can be found at dozens of events throughout the year lending a hand, advocating for meaningful causes, and supporting local organizations and community programs. We are incredibly proud to represent the Scholarship City and place tremendous value on giving young women opportunities to serve their communities, inspire others, and serve as positive role models for young women across the SouthCoast.”

In addition to their scholarship awards and year of service, all four titleholders will go on to represent the organization at the Miss Massachusetts and Miss Massachusetts’ Teen Competitions in June.
