$20 State Lottery instant game turns into $1 million prize for Massachusetts man

A Massachusetts man has a reason to smile after recently hitting a big State Lottery prize on a scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Tiberio Silva of Fall River is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$5,000,000 100X Cashword” $20 instant ticket game.

Silva chose to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

He purchased his winning ticket at Kam’s Food Mart, 376 2nd St. in Fall River. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale.

$5,000,000 100X Cashword has (1) $5 million prize and (4) $1 million prizes remaining.
