2-year-old Rhode Island child killed, two other relatives seriously injured, in hit and run collision

What began as a happy family visit turned into an unthinkable tragedy.
During a vacation out of the country with his father, 2-year-old Eyren Ezequie of North Providence lost his life in a horrific incident no family should face.
According to the mother’s employer, Real Vision Properties, in a parking lot, while his grandmother and great-grandmother lovingly tended to him, a driver carelessly reversed, striking all three.
In an instant, Eyren’s bright and innocent life was taken.
His grandmother and great-grandmother sustained serious injuries, and the driver fled, leaving the family shattered. The driver was later apprehended, but justice cannot erase their pain.
Eyren Ezequie was a radiant, joyful child whose laughter lit up every room. His sudden death has left a profound void for all who knew him.
Now, the family grapples with emotional devastation and mounting financial challenges, including funeral costs, medical bills, and the need to step away from work to grieve and heal.
Because of this, the business is raising funds for Eyren’s family through this fundraiser.
