2 injured, driver cited, after rollover crash involving two vehicles in Fall River
2 people were injured after a crash Monday afternoon in Fall River.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 2:30 p.m., units responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of North Eastern Avenue and Bullock Street. While making their way to the scene officers were advised that one vehicle had rolled over onto its roof.
It was determined that the operator of a Kia attempted to make a U-turn from the northbound lane of North Eastern Avenue to the southbound lane. When she attempted to do so, she did not see the Chevrolet which was travelling south on North Eastern Avenue. The force of the collision caused the Kia to roll over.
The operators of both vehicles were transported to area hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the Kia was cited for failure to yield right of way at an intersection.
