19-year-old killed in Plymouth County motorcycle crash remembered for sense of humor, heart of gold
A Massachusetts teenager has died after a motorcycle crash that took place last week.
According to the Plympton Fire Department, shortly before 4:00 p.m. on June 23rd, the Regional Old Colony Communications Center received a call for a motorcycle accident on Palmer Rd at Maple St.
Plympton Police arrived and initiated care.
Boston Medflight was called and landed at the Halifax Walmart. Halifax Fire assisted at the Landing Zone. He was transported to a Boston Hospital.
19-year-old Evan Ellis has died from his injuries.
According to an obituary, “Evan was his own person and he made the most of his young life. He embraced any opportunity for adventure and carried with him a charismatic sense of humor and a heart of gold. His close friends would describe him as “that friend” – the one who you could call on to always be there, whether to lend a hand with a car repair, throw a line in the water, take a joy ride or to put a smile on your face with his unending positivity. No matter his friends’ struggle, he exuded kindness and an optimism that turned a bad day into a better day.”
The crash is under investigation.
