18-year-old female found dead behind her Massachusetts home
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Chief of Police Steven Mazzie have confirmed the ongoing investigation into the death of a 18-year-old female.
Today, at approximately 2:00 p.m. a resident of a Springvale Avenue home in Everett called 911 to report that she had located the female apparently deceased behind her home.
Upon arrival, police located the woman outside. She was pronounced dead on scene. Based on the preliminary investigation, there were no obvious injuries. However, due to the circumstances around the location of the body it is being investigated as suspicious at this time.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and will determine the cause and manner of death. This is an open and ongoing investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Everett Police.
The identity of the deceased was not released by authorities.
