17-year-old female injured, driver cited, in Fall River vehicle versus pedestrian crash
A teenager was injured after a pedestrian crash this past weekend in Fall River.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the intersection of Bradford Avenue and Broadway for an accident involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle.
A 17-year-old female was struck by a motor vehicle as she attempted to cross the street in the crosswalk. She was transported to HASBRO Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the motor vehicle was cited for failing to yield to the pedestrian in the crosswalk.

They really should add a street light or two at that intersection. It’s dark as hell there at night and very poorly illuminated.
