15-year-old Fall River teen arrested on firearm-related charges for second time in four months

The Fall River Police Department made a firearm-related arrest this week.
According to police, on Thursday, the Fall River Police Department’s C.A.S.T. detectives, assisted by the Emergency Services Unit, executed a search warrant on Quarry Street, in Fall River. The warrant targeted a 15-year-old juvenile, which resulted in the discovery of a 3D-printed 9mm “ghost gun” loaded with six live rounds in the juvenile’s bedroom.
The juvenile is now facing the charges of Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Firearm without an LTC/FID, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID.
This marks the second firearm-related arrest of this 15-year-old juvenile in just four months. In the January 10th incident, the juvenile was found in possession of a Springfield XDS 9mm and released with GPS monitoring.
The Fall River Police Department expressed concerns with the repeated release of violent offenders, particularly those involved in firearm-related crimes.
