14-year-old Taunton teen died doing what he loved; services have been announced

Services have been announced for a Taunton teen killed in a crash this week.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the Taunton Police and Fire Departments were called to the intersection of Somerset Avenue (Route 138) and Silverwood Drive for a report of a motor vehicle collision.
Police arrived to find a two-vehicle crash involving a Toyota Corolla and a Kayo mini-motorcycle.
The driver of the car, a 17-year-old Taunton female, was not injured. The driver of the mini-motorcycle, a 14-year-old Taunton male, suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital.
Aiden was being remembered as an amazing soul, tough & strong, but kind & caring, smart & brave.
An obituary for Andrews states that he died doing what he loved, riding his new minibike he had gotten as an early birthday present.
Aiden was a former Taunton Pop Warner Football player and also played on multiple flag football teams.
Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Avenue, Taunton. Everyone is welcome to gather at Taunton High School, 50 Williams Street Taunton at 4pm, following the services for food, and a celebration of Aiden’s life. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aiden’s memory to Taunton Pop Warner, TYFC P.O. Box 144 Taunton, MA 02780. Kindly write “Memory of Aiden” in the memo line.
The crash remains under investigation by Taunton Police, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
