14-year-old dead, 18-year-old arrested after fatal shooting in Central Falls
Police have made an arrest after a teen was shot and killed Thursday in Rhode Island.
Police and fire personnel responded to 22 Earle Street in Central Falls at just before 9:00 a.m. for a report of an unconscious female.
Police confirmed that the 14-year-old sustained a gunshot wound and was at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in critical condition before succumbing to those injuries.
18-year-old Moises Maldonado of Central Falls was arrested and arraigned in Providence District Court on Manslaughter and firearm related charges.
The name of the victim, nor a motive, have been released.
