On April 26 the Westport Police arrested a 42-year-old Christopher Conroy of Truman Avenue in Westport after a week long investigation into allegations that he had sexually assaulted a female who was between the ages of 9 and 10.  He was arrested at his home by Westport Detective Robert Rebello along with officers from the uniform division.

The report to police originated days earlier when a young girl revealed to her parents that she had been touched inappropriately on three different occasions while at Mr. Conroy’s residence.

He was arraigned in Fall River Second District Court.

He was charged with three counts of Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child under the age of 14.

The Westport Police are asking anyone with additional information to contact the detective division.

I realize this is not new, saw while reading another story
I was thinking the same thing, why was she alone with this scumbag. But not knowing the relationship, he “may have” been a trusted friend. A wolf in sheep’s clothing.
If that’s the case, I have no regrets of being an over protective dad.
Sending prayers to this innocent, strong brave little girl.
Christopher Conroy, you coward, your prison stay isn’t going to be a vacation, it’s going to be hell and I hope you get the full tour ☠️
