Southern New England could see heavy rain from Hurricane Michael

It is early yet, but as of now, Southern New England is in the cone of probability to see heavy rain later this week.

According to the National Weather Service, Hurricane Michael may track close enough to southern New England and interact with an approaching cold front to result in potential heavy rain for MA, RI & CT Thursday & Friday.

Michael could bring 110 miles per hour winds with heavy rain when it lands in Florida on Wednesday.
