According to the National Weather service, the area could see 5″ of snow or more.

A potential Wednesday to early Thursday nor- easter is being monitored. Strong NE winds and some coastal flood issues around a early Thurs AM high tide could be present.

Here is the current forecast:

Tuesday Night
A slight chance of snow after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Northeast wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday
Snow likely, mainly after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 36. Breezy, with a northeast wind 18 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Wednesday Night
Snow likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 31. Blustery. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
