Fall River Police looking for gunman in Tuesday night shooting

On January 23rd at approximately 8:00 p.m., Officers Neil Rodrigues and David Reed and Sergeants Bryan Nadeau and William Falandys of the Fall River Police Department’s Uniform Division responded to Webster Street in regards to a shots fired complaint. On their arrival, they began a canvass of the area. Officer Reed located 7 spent shell casings and one live round on the ground next to a residence. Sergeant Falandys located a 2010 Toyota with damage to the rear window and tire. A projectile was located on the front seat of the Toyota. Sergeant Nedeau located two bullet holes in the Post Office Building located at 1622 Pleasant Street. Sergeant Anthony Elumba of the Crime Scene Unit was notified and responded to collect evidence. During Sergeant Elumba’s canvass of the area, he located a 2016 Ford with bullet damage to the front bumper.

Witnesses stated they observed a white male approximately 5’7” and about 170 pounds wearing a black baggy hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans firing the shots before running to a dark colored Nissan and fleeing the area.
