Fall River Police looking for armed robbery suspects who pistol whipped clerk

On Friday February 9th  at approximately 9:30 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at Shell Gas Station (815 new Boston Road ). Officers Brendan McNerney, Matthew Rezendes, Ross Aubin and John Deschenes and Street Supervisor Manauel Bernardo of the Fall River Police Departments Uniform Division responded.

According to the clerk and a customer, two males entered the store wearing dark clothing, black ski masks, and carrying handguns. The suspects forced them onto the ground and then robbed the store.  While one suspect was struggling to open the cash register, the other suspect was standing lookout and pistol whipped the clerk.  The suspects took both the clerk’s and a customer’s cell phones, took the cash from the register, a pack of cigarettes, and a pack of cookies.

One suspect is wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, blue jeans, white gloves, and carrying a black bag and black handgun.  The other suspect is wearing a black hooded winter jacket, black face mask, maroon pants, black and white gloves, and carrying a black handgun.  The patron described the suspects as light skinned black or Hispanic males with possibly brown eyes and approximately 5’8″ – 5’10” and about 175 lbs.
