Three new fire vehicles are soon to be in service for the Fall River Fire Department.

Two Igniters and one Cinder Custom Pumpers were just delivered to Fall River Fire Chief John Lynch.

These trucks feature an extruded aluminum body, 1500 gpm midship pump, booster reel, 750 gallons water, FoamPro 2002 and 75 gallon foam cell.

According to Fall River firefighter and union president Jason Burns, the trucks will be in service in 2-3 weeks as they are in Attleboro getting some finishing touches.

The city has been replacing it’s equipment and battered fleet of trucks with a nearly $5 million loan approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
