Fall River animal welfare group holding fun day for pets and owners

Fall River Coalition For Animal Awareness is holding its 11th annual “Bark in the Park” event.

70+ vendors/rescues, 4 demos, rabies/microchip clinic, and a Doggie Fun Run are scheduled.

FRCAA is an all volunteer group dedicated to Animal Welfare & rights. Their goal is to assist the community in promoting responsible pet ownership through education and financial aid along with aiding stray, abused, abandoned and owned animals.

The Rabies and Microchipping Clinic will consist of rabies shots for $15 & microchipping for $20.

The four demonstrations scheduled to take place are Agility, Shutzhund, Rally-Obedience, and Basic Obedience & Kid/Pet Interaction Skills.

Food, crafts, and pet items will also be available.

Bark in the Park will be taking place August 5th at Kennedy Park from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
